Is one of those things, we don’t often give enough attention to. Fatigue at the best slows our reflexes, at the worst causes micro sleep, and in a few seconds can cause death. The basic rule is don’t drive when you are tired, it is as bad as driving under the influence of alcohol.
A campaign has been run for a few years now called Carmen Road Safety, where her father runs programs in schools explaining how fatigue caused the death of his daughter. Check it out more on facebook.com/carmenroadsafety
If you are driving for long periods make sure you pull over every couple of hours. Get some refreshment and rest up a little. Better a little late, than DEAD on time.
